The Gnomettes met through their blogs and bonded over a mutual appreciation of Being Human, BBC 3′s dark comedy drama following the lives of a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who share a house in Bristol. The characters, Mitchell, George and Annie, inspired the names for our sponsored gnomes, while the wallpaper in George’s bedroom sparked our initial gnome-obsession! The Gnomettes are:
Caroline: Based in the heart of England (or the West Midlands, to those in the know!), Caroline is an editor, wannabe writer, girly geek and technophile and -phobe with a passion for thrift shopping and a love of books and literature. She also loves to cook, bake (and eat) and lives on her 7-10 daily cups of tea. Caroline sponsors Annie.

Amy: Amy is the gal behind Wonderland Boutique – a little corner of Etsy where delicious and quirky, vintage-inspired bags, purses and pouches are created. She loves hot chocolate and toast and if either are punctuated by a horror film, then all the better. She adores nothing better than getting lost in a book (preferably one by Neil Gaiman), scaring herself silly with said horror, and devouring outsider and lowbrow art (not literally of course – toast tends to cover most of her nutritional needs.) She is currently most obsessed with Dexter and when not tethered to her sewing machine, is rather joyfully re-discovering her adolescent love of Tim Burton, Eddie Izzard and Shakespeare.
